Privacy & Practice Policies

1. Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is a priority. One Collective Therapy is committed to protecting the personal and health information of my clients in compliance with PIPEDA and provincial health privacy legislation in BC, SK, and MB.

  • Confidentiality: All sessions are strictly confidential. Limits to this include risks of imminent harm to self or others, suspected child abuse or neglect, or a court subpoena.

  • Data Security: I use secure, encrypted platforms for telehealth and record-keeping to ensure your data is protected.

  • Funder Information: For clients using ICBC or CVAP, I collect only the claim information required to process payments.

2. Terms of Service

By accessing these services, you agree to the following:

  • Jurisdiction: Counseling is available to residents of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. You must be physically located in one of these provinces during our sessions.

  • Services are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the ethical standards of the CCPA.

  • Our practice is based in BC and sessions will take place via a secure, PIPEDA-compliant platform.

  • Technology: For virtual care, clients are responsible for ensuring a private space and a stable internet connection.

3. Fees & Financial Policy

  • Rates: The standard rate is $160.00 per hour.

  • Coverage: We accept health insurance, ICBC, and payments from CVAP.

  • Sliding Scale: Reduced rates are available for youth aging out of care and must be discussed prior to our first session.

  • Cancellations: I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or "no-shows" will be charged the full session fee. Note: ICBC and CVAP generally do not cover the cost of missed sessions.
